Souvenirs from friends

Recently, quite a number of friends went to Japan and Thailand for vacation.
I am so jealous of them!!
Anyway, just want to show you the souvenirs they bought for me!
It's very nice of them to take my own interest into consideration when getting the souvenirs for me :)

Let's start with the souvenir from Changmai, Thailand.
My friend got me a nice hand-painted woodpecker necklace.

This length of the necklace can be adjusted and it has another function as a whistle~~
Such an adorable gift!

Moving on, the souvenir from Tokyo, Japan.
My friend received a card from me before she went for vacation and so thoughtfully she bought me 2 masking tapes as souvenirs!

One is with the die-cut of different colouful houses
and the other is of more vintage feeling with old stamps on it.

I couldn't resist to use them to make a card!

One more from Okinawa, Japan.
This is actually not a souvenir, I asked a friend to help me get this in Japan because it is way much cheaper than getting the same thing in Hong Kong.
This is a plastic storage box from Muji.

Very good quality and simple looking!
I used this to store some of my crafting supplies.

DIY Card Making - Birthday Card 生日卡‧親手製 *慶祝的旗幟*

慶祝的旗幟

再造了一張生日卡，這次用了印章和Pattern Paper來營造少許效果。
Another Birthday card making! This time I have used the stamp and pattern paper to create some effects.

材料 Materials:
1x Blue Card Stock
3x Pattern Paper
1x Black Paper
1x Gold Card Stock
3x Toothpicks
1x White Gel Pen
1x Stamp
1x Watermark Stamp Pad
1x Star Punch
1x Corner Punch
Several Foam Stickers 

製造旗幟的方法 Flag making:

選取合適的Pattern Paper，剪出所要的大小，預留一點空間把牙簽黏上。待膠水乾透便成功造出一面可愛的小旗幟。
Choose the patterns that you want and cut the paper into the desirable size. Reserve some space to glue the toothpick. After the glue is dried, a cute little flag is done!

為單調的卡紙增添點趣味 Adding a touch to the plain background:

將所選印章蓋在Watermark Stamp Pad上，然後在卡紙上按照所需pattern蓋印，待watermark ink乾透，便會做出watermark的效果。
Place the chosen stamp on the Watermark Stamp Pad and stamp it over the card stock to create the pattern you want. Wait till the watermark ink to dry to create the patterned background.

隨著科技的發展，很多現代人只會在Whatsapp或Facebook跟朋友說聲生日快樂。
As technology advanced, many modern people will just wish their friends Happy Birthday on Facebook or through Whatsapp.
可是我呢，還是喜歡實實在在的做一些可以保存的祝福給朋友 :)
But for me, I still love to create some tangible blessings for my friends :)
所以這回朋友的生日，我製作了一張生日卡送她！
So for my friend's birthday, I made a card for her!

5 x Masking Tapes

1 x Black Card Stock

1 x Red Pattern Card Stock

1 x White Gel Pen

1 x Cutting Board

1 x Corner Chopper

這張卡還有可改善的地方，但也是這些不太完美的地方才令手製品獨一無二 (但我還是會繼續努力改進！加油！加油！)。
Although there are rooms for improvement, this is exactly the imperfection that makes the card unique (But I will still work hard on improving my techniques! Fighting! Fighting!)
